Accredited Particle Counter Calibration in Denmark & Europe

Medico Support is a DANAK-accredited calibration laboratory in Denmark (Accreditation No. CAL491), providing accredited calibration of airborne particle counters in accordance with ISO 21501-4 under our ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.

Particle counters are used for monitoring controlled environments and for documenting compliance with airborne particle concentration requirements in accordance with ISO 14644-1 and ISO 14644-2. We calibrate a wide range of particle counters, including CLiMET models, using traceable references and validated methods.

Our accredited calibration of particle counters is covered by Medico Support's DANAK accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17025 (Accreditation No. CAL491).

Based in Denmark, we provide calibration services to customers across Europe. DANAK is a signatory to the ILAC MRA, supporting international recognition of accredited calibration results.

Parameters described in ISO 21501-4

ISO 21501-4 describes a range of important parameters for evaluating the metrological performance of an airborne particle counter:

  • Size setting error
  • Counting efficiency
  • Size resolution
  • False count
  • Maximum particle number concentration
  • Sampling flow rate error
  • Sampling time error
  • Response rate
  • Calibration interval
  • Reporting of test and calibration results

Extended monitoring of instrument condition

In addition to the parameters described in ISO 21501-4, monitoring additional technical parameters can provide valuable information about the instrument's current condition, stability and expected service life.

  • Threshold voltage
  • Laser diode voltage
  • Stray light

Calibration in our laboratory or at the customer's site

Calibration is normally performed in our own laboratories. Depending on the type of equipment and the scope of the assignment, calibration can in certain cases also be performed at the customer's site.

Our services are carried out by experienced and qualified specialists with up-to-date knowledge of applicable standards and requirements. We also provide professional advice on the selection and purchase of new measuring equipment.

Total Service Agreement

For selected types of equipment, we can provide a comprehensive service agreement tailored to the equipment and the customer's requirements.
